Plantation Under Grand Plantation Campaign at EPCO Campus

Bhopal: Saplings were planted at Environment Planning and Coordination Organisation (EPCO) campus under the Grand Plantation campaign today. Executive Director EPCO Anupam Rajan planted Neem sapling on this occasion. Officers and employees of EPCO also planted saplings of different varieties like Neem, Pipal, Kachnar and Karanj etc. in the campus.
Rajan informed that over 12 thousand seed balls had been made with people's cooperation mixing different varieties of seeds with soil and dung on the occasion of World Environment Day this year. These seed balls have been planted during the plantation in the campus today. Moreover, he said that these seed balls are being planted on vacant land of Bhopal city during the monsoon season.-WTN
