We Are Proud of Our State’s Daughters- Sports Minister Smt. Scindia

Bhopal: Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia said that daughters of state are bringing laurel to State, Country and Academy continuously from International sports competitions. She said that we are proud of our players. It may be mentioned that Champa Mourya and Prince Parmar of Madhya Pradesh Water Sports Academy, displaying their best at international level have created history securing fourth position in world ranking. Smt. Scindia met winners of Keno Slalom World Cup organized at Prague of Czech Republic at T.T. Nagar Stadium today.

It is to be highlighted that pair of Ku. Champa Mourya and Prince Parmar of Madhya Pradesh Water Sports Academy has created history securing fourth position in world ranking in C-2 event among players of 50 countries displaying their best in the Keno Slalom World Cup. Four players of Water Sports Academy took part in the World Cup including Vishwajeet Kushwaha and Dharmendra Verma. Secretary Sports Sachin Sinha, Director Sports and Youth Welfare Upendra Jain, Chief Keno Slalom Coach Piyush Bharoi and Coach Devendra Gupta were present on the occasion.-WTN
