CM Chouhan flags off Raksha Rath
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the self-confidence and morale of Army Jawans deployed near the border will get a boost when they receive rakhis and best wishes from their sisters on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The Nav Duniya family deserves the credit for this touching effort. Chouhan said this during the flag off ceremony of Raksha Rath under Bharat Raksha festival initiated by Nav Duiniya at CM House today. Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Sadhana Singh was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that we can sleep peacefully at our homes because the Jawans are deployed near the border. Our jawans cannot celebrate festivals like Holi, Deepawali and Raksha Bandhan with their families to provide border security.
Their lives are always at stake when they are deployed near the border. He said that when the Nav Duniya Raksha Rath reaches the border with rakhis and best wishes from thousands of women from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the joy of the Jawans will know no bounds and they will experience immense emotional satisfaction. Chief Minister Chouhan flagged off the rath with all traditional rituals.
On the occasion it was told that Navduniya is collecting rakhis, greetings and messages from women all over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh through the Rakshan Rath under Bharat Raksha festival. The collected material will be made available to the jawans deployed near the border through the Army.
