Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while holding dialogues warmly with the participants of ASEAN Youth Summit urged them to be always filled with enthusiasm. Think big for their country and the world and prepare themselves to undertake big and excellent tasks, he added. The participants were invited for the feast by the Chief Minister Chouhan at CM House today. Moreover, he urged the participants to visit state again and again to tour entire Madhya Pradesh.
Chouhan talked with the participants with open heart and shared several memories. He informed that how his political career begun and how he staged movement at the tender age of 13 against the exploitation of the farmers and was imprisoned for 9 months at the age of 19. He further informed that he also undertook 45 days padyatra against exploitation and atrocities. Chouhan mentioned that no work is impossible if there is hard work, commitment and dedication.
Chouhan felicitated the main attraction of the programme, Captain of Indian Women Cricket team Smt. Mitali Raj on this occasion. He said that Smt. Mitali Raj is an icon of women empowerment. The state government will organize a civic reception for the cricket team. He also mentioned that women cricket has scaled new heights owing to the achievements of Indian Women Cricket team.
Smt. Mitali Raj while addressing the youth shared her experiences and said that women playing cricket was not considered good in the past. Now the society has accepted it. Expectations become high with every achievement at international level. Women cricket has received a new stage. She mentioned that criticism eliminates shortcomings and will pave a new way. Smt. Mitali further said that analysis of challenges and better strategy are must and then comes the hard work.
CM Chouhan apprised participants came from various countries about the specialties of Madhya Pradesh and the country. All the participants in their national dress were present. Minister for Higher Education Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya, Minister for Urban Development Smt. Maya Singh, Alok Bansal of India Foundation and other Office Bearers were present on the occasion.-WTN
