Governor inaugurates IT room in Raj Bhavan

Bhopal: Governor Om Prakash Kohli today inaugurated the newly constructed Information and Technology Centre (IT room) at Raj Bhavan Secretariat. Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. M Mohanrao, NIC Deputy Director General and State Information Office R.R. Rane, Technical Director Shri A.N. Siddiqui and Raj Bhavan’s senior officials.

Useful software related to Raj Bhavan and special rights work like letter monitoring system, invitation and best wishes, IFMIS will be developed at the centre with the help of NIC. Raj Bhavan officials and employees will be given skill training in the IT centre under the guidance of NIC in charge scientist Jitendra Parashar. Apart from this, training will also be given in e-office, library automation and advance computer training. Other works include video-conferencing, office automation, e-governance and updating of Raj Bhavan website.-WTN
