Revenue Minister Gupta Honours Meritorious Students

Bhopal: Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology Umashankar Gupta honoured meritorious students of class 8th, 10th and 12th of ward 27 in Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Kotra presenting them medals and certificates. The directors of various educational institutions were also honoured on the occasion.
Gupta said that no meritorious student will be deprived of higher education. College fee of students securing 75 percent and above marks in 12th examination of Board of Secondary Education and 85 percent and above marks in CBSE 12th examination will be borne by the government under the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana. He told students to study hard to avail benefit of this scheme.
Moreover, Gupta informed about various schemes being conducted by the government for women and girls. He said that the government is making constant efforts for the welfare of poor. Public Representatives were present on the occasion.-WTN
