CM Chouhan to confer awards to litterateurs on Hindi Diwas

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will confer awards as chief guest to Hindi litterateurs at an investiture ceremony to be held at Samanvay Bhavan, Bhopal on September 14 at 5.30 pm. The Chief Minister will confer National Maithilisharan Gupta Award, National Sharad Joshi Award and Hindi language Awards to prominent litterateurs and writer. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture and Tourism Surendra Patwa will preside over.
Smt. Malti Joshi, Dr. Vishwanath Tiwari and Kamal Kishore Goenka will be conferred the National Maithilisharan Gupta Award. Gopal Chaturvedi, Dr. Suryabala Lal, Prem Janmejay and Narmada Prasad Upadhyaya will be conferred the National Sharad Joshi Award. The awards include Rs 2 lakhs, letter of citation, shawl and coconut.
Under various categories of the Hindi Language awards, Information Technology Award will be given to Microsoft India, Nirmal Verma Award to Tejendra Sharma, Father Kamil Bulke award to Dr. Hemraj Sundar, Gunakar Mule Award to Harimohan and Hindi Seva Samman to Professor Oken Lego. Awards include Rs one lakh each, letter of citation, shawl and coconut.
Daughters of renowned satirist Late Sharad Joshi, Smt. Bani and Smt. Richa have also been invited for the ceremony by the Department of Culture. They are coming from Karnataka and Mumbai to Bhopal to take part in the ceremony.-WTN
