DG, NGMA to inaugurate 'Rang Smriti' art festival

Bhopal: In the memory of legendary painter, Late Shri Sachida Nagdev and on the occasion of his Birthday on 25th October, IGRMS, Aisect and MPSTC is coming together and organsing a three days long art festival 'Rang Smriti' at Aavriti Bhawan and its open air exhibition area. This three days long memorial programme will be inaugurated by Shri Adwaita Gadanayak, Director General, National Gallery of Modern Art.
On the first day, a documentary on the life of Shri Sachida Nagdev , followed by a musical presentation by Indo-Western fusion band, where with Sitar- Smita Nagdev, Florian-western flute and Ciril-double bass. On the second day (26th Oct) in the morning session a colloquium will be organised where owners of top art galleries and renowned painters will participate and in the evening famous folk singer of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Prahlad Tipaniyaji will present Kabir Gayan and on the third day (27 Oct) Shri Pramod Kamble ji will deliver a lecture on 'Murtikala ka Jeevant pradarshan'. -Windowtonews
