Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a grand statue of Bharat Mata will be established in Shaurya Smarak. Fascinating Vir Bharat Smarak will be made in the state. From Samrat Chandragupt till heroes of the present era will be illustrated in the smarak. Chouhan was addressing the concluding programme of first anniversary of Shaurya Smarak here today.
CM Chouhan mentioned that a training center will be opened in the state to impart training to the youths to join the defense services. A three day long grand foundation day will be celebrated in the state from the next year. He added that we are proud of our defense forces. China had occupied a part of the Indian land in the year 1962 but when Chinese army tried the same at Doklam recently, our army has turned them away. Our defense force carried out surgical strike in Pakistan to eliminate terrorists. We salute the courage and bravery of our army soldiers and wish to extend our message that the entire country are with them. When we celebrate our festivals at that time our soldiers stood guard at the borders in adverse condition to protect us. They remain awake for our protection and we sleep comfortably. Youths are being sent to the borders under the Maa Tujhe Pranam Yojana so that they should watch how our soldiers protect the country in adverse conditions. We had brought the soil from the villages of the Martyrs here when the Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Shaurya Smarak the last year. We pay obeisance to the soils of the Martyrs.
Principal Secretary Culture Manoj Shrivastva gave welcome Speech on the occasion. He informed that 11 lakh domestic and foreign tourists have visited the Shaurya Smarak last year. A 3 day long foundation day has been celebrated this year.
Chief Minister Chouhan paid floral tribute to the soil brought from the villages of the Martyrs. Vande Matram song and Madhya Pardesh Gaan were recited in the programme. Poets Gajendra Solanki, Vineet Chouhan , Yogendra Sharma, Shambhu Singh Manhar, Sumit Mishra, Aviraj Pankaj and Smt. Ruchi Chaturvedi recited poetry in Kavi Sammelan organized on the occasion.-Windowtonews
