'Vigilance Awareness Week-2017'

Bhopal: Under the activities of 'Vigilance Awareness Week-2017', IGRMS today organised a lecture by Shri J.N. Rana (Superintendent of Police, CBI). Through his lecture Shri Rana informed about the working of CBI and areas under its jurisdiction. He said "It is the premier investigative agency in the country today, with a dual responsibility to investigate grievous cases and provide leadership and direction in fighting corruption to the Police force across the country. It is an elite force playing a major role in preservation of values in public life and in ensuring the health of the national economy. It is also the nodal police agency in India which coordinates investigation on behalf of Interpol Member countries". He further explained CBI is also involved in collection of criminal intelligence pertaining to three of its main areas of operation, viz., Anti-Corruption, Economic Crimes and Special Crimes. In detail SP, Shri Rana explained the difference between bona-fide and mala-fide conduct in official work.

Later Shri Rana explained the reasons behind corruption and conduct which comes under corruption. He also gave replies to various queries from the audience. The lecture was chaired by Shri D.S. Rao (Head of Office).

In this series, on Friday a special screening of a documentary based on working of Shri Vallabh Bhai Patel is organised at Avritti Bhawan from 11.30am. It will attended by more than 300 school students.

Pluto writers' workshop-2 at IGRMS commenced

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya in association with EKTARA (Children literature and art centre of Takshila) is organizing a workshop 'Pluto writers' workshop-2' from 2nd to 5th November, 2017 at Rock Art Conference Hall. 23 writers from all over the country are participating in this workshop.-Windowtonews
