Second woman accuses US Senator of sexual harassment

Washington Nov 21 (IANS) A second woman has accused US Democratic Senator Al Franken of sex harassment saying he put his hand on her bottom as they posed for a picture in a state fair in 2010 it was revealed.

Lindsay Menz 33 who now lives in Frisco Texas told CNN in a programme broadcast on Monday that she felt "gross" at the time and immediately told her husband Xinhua news agency reported.

The Senator aged 66 said he did not remember taking the photo with Menz but felt badly that she felt disrespected.

"I take thousands of photos at the state fair surrounded by hundreds of people and I certainly don t remember taking this picture " Franken told CNN.

"I feel badly that Ms. Menz came away from our interaction feeling disrespected."

Days before Los Angeles local radio news anchor Leeann Tweeden claimed that Franken forcibly kissed her and groped her in 2006 when he was a comedian.
