Pakistan arrests 16 foreigners for illegal border crossing

Islamabad Nov 21 (IANS) Sixteen foreigners were arrested in Pakistan s Balochistan province for illegally trying to cross the country s border into Iran authorities said on Tuesday.
The foreigners -- 15 Nigerians and one Yemeni national -- were en route to Europe via Iran but were arrested on Monday night on a tip-off reports Xinhua news agency.
The security forces also detained two armed local men in the operation conducted in Turbat district.
Monday s incident comes a day after the police arrested a drug trafficker from Punjab province who was accused of sending people to Europe illegally.
