Qatar rejects Trump s Jerusalem stand
Doha Dec 6 (IANS) Qatar s Emir has said his country will reject the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani made the remarks at a meeting with Palestine s envoy in Doha on Tuesday who delivered a message from Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas Xinhua news agency reported.
"Qatar has totally rejected any measure calling for the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel " Al Thani said.
The Emir stressed the religious and political importance of Jerusalem to Arabs Muslims and the whole world.
