Petrol bomb thrown at Suu Kyi s residential compound
Yangon Feb 1 (IANS) A petrol bomb was thrown into Myanmar State Counsellor and de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi s residential compound here on Thursday an official said.
Suu Kyi was in Nay Pyi Taw at the time of the incident and there were no casualties Director-General of the State Counsellor office U Zaw Htay told Xinhua news agency.
"We were able to put out the fire in time " he said. Authorities were searching for the perpetrator the report said.
