2 lawyers killed in Lahore court firing

Lahore Feb 20 (IANS) At least two lawyers were killed in a gunfire incident outside a sessions court here on Tuesday.
The deceased lawyers were identified as Rana Ishtiaq and Owais Talib. The assailant Kashif Rajput opened fire at Ishtiaq -- who was his cousin -- over a family dispute the police said.
Subsequently the second lawyer also came under fire and was injured. He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his bullet wounds Geo News reported.
Rajput who was later arrested is said to be a lawyer but the police were investigating the claim.
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and sought a report from the police.
