15 IS fighters join Taliban in Afghanistan

Shiberghan April 16 (IANS) A 15-member group of the Islamic State (IS) terror outfit has joined the Taliban in Afghanistan s Darzab district police said on Monday.
"The 15 fighters who operated as the Ghazanfar group deserted IS ranks and joined the Taliban on Friday " Xinhua news agency quoted a police official as saying.
Many members of the IS in Afghanistan are former Taliban fighters according to the official.
