Kabul Aug 5 (IANS) Eight Taliban militants were killed and three injured during a military operation in Afghanistan s Takhar province an army spokesman said on Sunday.
"Among those killed was a Taliban divisional commander " Xinhua news agency quoted the spokesman as saying.
The National Security and Defence Forces launched the ground operation supported by the Air Force against militants in Baharak district on Saturday.
