2 killed in J&K attack (Lead)
Srinagar Feb 23 (IANS) Two people were killed and six others injured on Thursday when militants attacked security forces in Jammu and Kashmir s Shopian district police said.
The forces were returning from a search operation in Kungoo village when they were attacked at.
The victims comprised a soldier and a civilian. Reinforcements were immediately rushed to surround the area and track the militants the police added.
