11 killed in Lahore factory fire

Lahore, Jan 28 (IANS) At least 11 people were killed when a perfume-making factory caught fire after a gas cylinder exploded, an official said on Tuesday.Chief of the rescue operation team Rana Ijaz Ahmad said the incident took place on Monday night and the fire also engulfed a residential block adjacent to the factory, Xinhua news agency reported.Most of the victims were reported from the residential block, said the official, adding that the toll was likely to increase.
