Accused as loan defaulter and for miss leading the government agencies, also accused of many charges of money Laundering, Vijay Mallya the Business tycoon has been arrested in #london and soon will be produced in a metropolitan court by today itself.
Under the regular follow-ups, India had asked the UK government to extradite Vijay Mallya is now finally being registered under various charges of money Laundering and several warrants in the country. Since February the appeal was in follow. Last month the UK authorities confirmed that the request for arrest had been certified.
The arrest of the tycoon is considered as the big win. The arrest which took place at morning 9:30 am as per IST, CBI sources count it big. Last week the Delhi court opened the non-bailable arrest warrant, in the case of alleged violation of foreign exchange rules.
