Five Egyptian security men killed in checkpoint attack
Cairo July 14 (IANS) At least five security men were killed on Friday when militants opened fire at a checkpoint in Giza province in Egypt an interior ministry source said.
"Two policemen and three recruits were killed in the attack at the checkpoint in Badrasheen district " Xinhua news agency quoted the source as saying.
According to eyewitnesses "masked men on a motorbike opened fire from automatic machines before fleeing the scene".
