Four British soldiers held for Nazi links
London Sep 5 (IANS) Four British soldiers suspected to be part of a neo-Nazi cell have been arrested in Britain police said on Tuesday.
The men are a 22-year-old from Birmingham a 32-year-old from Powys a 24-year-old from Ipswich and a 24-year-old from Northampton. They have been held under anti-terror laws BBC reported.
The four being held at a West Midlands police station are alleged to be members of National Action a banned neo-Nazi youth organisation considered a terrorist entity by the British government.
Confirming the arrests an Army spokesperson said: "This is now the subject of a civilian police investigation and it would be inappropriate to comment further."
Police said the operation was launched based on intelligence.
