10 IS militants killed in Afghanistan

Kabul Oct 14 (IANS) Afghan security forces on Saturday killed 10 Islamic State (IS) militants after repulsing an attack outside Assadabad police said.
"Mullah Zahir a local commander of the IS group was among those killed in the fighting " police chief Juma Gul Hemat told reporters.
Two police personnel also sustained injuries.
