AIADMK delegation meets Vice President
New Delhi Nov 8 (IANS) A delegation of Tamil Nadu s ruling AIADMK faction on Wednesday met Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu who is also the Rajya Sabha Chairman.
Those who called on Naidu included senior leaders K.P. Munuswamy Natham Viswanathan V. Maitreyan and P.H. Pandian.
The meeting assumes significance in the backdrop of the demand by the ruling faction for disqualification of three Rajya Sabha members owing allegiance to the T.T.V. Dinakaran faction of the AIADMK under the anti-defection law.
