Police vehicle attacked on Jammu-Srinagar highway

Srinagar Nov 10 (IANS) Militants fired at a police vehicle on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Friday police said adding that no damage was however done in the attack.
The incident occurred in the Qazigund area a police officer said. The area has been cordoned off for searches.
In another incident guards at the district police lines in Pulwama fired a few rounds after they noticed suspicious movement.
In August militants had attacked the Pulwama police lines killing eight security personnel. Three militants were also killed in a gunfight then.
