Woman files rape complaint against senior advocate, his son

New Delhi Nov 10 (IANS) A woman advocate has filed a complaint of rape and sexual harassment against a senior advocate and his son here saying she was exploited on the pretext of marriage and abandoned after giving birth to a child.

Police said on Friday the woman 29 had filed a complaint against the advocate and his son at a police station in Rohini on Wednesday.

"The victim stated in her complaint that she was in a live-in relationship with the advocate s son at his residence in Rohini. Meanwhile the advocate also developed sexual relations with her on the pretext of getting her married to his son. His son too had a physical relationship with her " a senior police officer who did not want to be named told IANS.

The police officer refused to reveal the identity of the accused lawyers stating they are yet to finish their probe.

"The woman got pregnant and on October 3 2017 gave birth to a child. She then expressed her desire to get married to his son but both the accused turned down her proposal " the officer said.

"The victim then filed a complaint of rape and sexual harassment against both father and son. We are investigating the case and no arrests have been made so far in the case " he added.
