Order banning cattle sale for slaughter withdrawn

New Delhi Dec 2 (IANS) The centre on Saturday withdrew the controversial order banning the sale of cattle for slaughter in markets.
The order issued in May this year sought to curb cruelty to animals but sparked off a nation-wide row with several states objecting to the centre s action.
