Parking attendant killed as carrier rams auto-rickshaw

New Delhi Dec 5 (IANS) A parking attendant was killed and five others were injured early on Tuesday when a speeding trailer truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw in south Delhi police said.

The truck owned by Om Fourways Cargo Ltd rammed the auto-rickshaw around 2.20 a.m. on the MB Road near Lal Kaun Delhi Transport Corporation bus stand injuring six passengers.

They were taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre where Uday was declared brought dead Deputy Commissioner of Police Chinmoy Biswal said.

Uday worked as a parking attendant at PVR Saket and stayed in Mithapur. The injured were Bittu of Badarpur Symon Mishra of Usmanpur and auto-rickshaw driver Rahul who were unfit to give statements to police.

Rahul and Rajesh were discharged after treatment.
