Gunfight starts in Kashmir s Shopian district

Srinagar Dec 18 (IANS) A gunfight started on Monday between the security forces and the militants in Jammua and Kashmir s Shopian district.
State police chief S.P.Vaid in a statement said: "Exchange of fire going on in Shopian of south Kashmir between terrorists and Police/Security Forces. Wishing boys the very best!".
The gunfight has started in Batmuran village of the district where police said two to three militants are holed up.
