Bose s kin meet UP CM

Lucknow Jan 23 (IANS) Several family members of Subhas Chandra Bose on Tuesday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on the freedom fighter s 121st birth anniversary officials said.

They included Bose s brother Sharat Chandra Bose s granddaughter Jayanti Bose Rakshit her husband Amiya Kumar Rakshit grand-nephew Arya Bose and grand-niece Tapti Ghosh.

The Chief Minister enquired about their well-being and said that the grateful nation remembered Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary.

He said the revolutionary leader s contribution to the country s freedom struggle would always be remembered.

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday had paid homage to Subhas Chandra Bose.
