Four of family end life by jumping in lake near Hyderabad

Hyderabad Feb 6 (IANS) Upset over a property dispute with his parents a man committed suicide by jumping into a lake along with his wife and their children near here on Tuesday police said.

The incident occurred at Kondapur in Keesara mandal (block) of Medchal district about 40 km from Hyderabad.

Ramesh 35 and his wife Manasa 22 jumped into the lake along with their two daughters - seven-month-old Manashri and three-year-old Geetashri.

According to police Ramesh had a dispute with his parents over property. He was depressed as his parents sold the property and refused to give him his share.

The couple along with their children jumped into the lake. Locals alerted the police which pressed divers into service to pull out the bodies. The bodies of the couple were recovered while the search was on for the bodies of the children.
