PGIMER doctor commits suicide

Chandigarh Feb 26 (IANS) A junior resident doctor of the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) here has committed suicide police said on Monday.
The young doctor Krishna Prasath R 24 was found hanging from the ceiling of his hotel room on the institute campus.
Prasath who hailed from Tamil Nadu was a junior resident in the PGIMER s Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging.
Inspector Lakhbir Singh of the Sector 11 police station said that the reason for taking the extreme step is still not known.
A case has been registered over the incident and investigations are going on he added.
