Soldier injured in Pakistan firing

Srinagar March 9 (IANS) An Indian soldier was injured on Friday in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir s Baramulla district.
Defence sources said the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing on the LoC in Uri sector. The injured soldier was shifted to a hospital.
"Our troops retaliated strongly and effectively " an official said. The LoC divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
