Kolkata : The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is planning to amend its constitution in line with the Supreme Court verdict on administrative reforms, and will call special general and annual general meetings for the purpose soon. "The emergency working committee will meet on Monday. After that will be the SGM and then the AGM," CAB President and former India captain Sourav Ganguly told reporters here on Wednesday.
About the CABs few office-bearers who have completed their term as per the Justice R.M. Lodha Committee guidelines, Ganguly said, "We dont disrespect anyone. They are all part of the association." About the third One-Day International (ODI) between India and England at the Eden Gardens on January 22, a CAB official said: "Tickets will be issued to various affiliated clubs on January 12 and 13. For the public it will be made available from January 16." According to sources, the Special General Meeting of the CAB will be held after the ODI, and the meeting is expected to make the constitutional amendments.-Agency
