Insurance official booked for molestation, order on bail Saturday

New Delhi; A court here reserved, for Saturday, its order on the anticipatory bail plea of a senior official of a private insurance agency who has been booked on charges of molesting a former colleague. Additional Sessions Judge Vikas Dhull said that he will deliver order on the bail plea of Talat U. Chauhan on Saturday. Delhi Police has booked Chauhan under various sections of the Indian Penal Code dealing with molestation. Chauhans defence counsel K.K. Manan and Anjali Rajput argued that he has co-operated in the investigation and will follow every condition imposed by the court if released on bail. Denying the charges, they said that Chauhan was falsely implicated in the case However, the complainants counsel, Rajesh Jindal has opposed the bail plea saying that he can try to tamper with evidence in the case. Public Prosecutor Satwinder Kaur also opposed Chauhans bail plea saying that he was harassing the woman for a long time, and when she complained and sought to expose his fraud, fired her.-Agency
