Indian, Pakistan armies clash on LoC

Jammu April 2 (IANS) Indian and Pakistan armies on Monday engaged in heavy shelling and firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir s Rajouri district.
Police said the Pakistan Army started unprovoked shelling and firing targeting Indian positions.
"Indian troops retaliated effectively and strongly. Firing exchanges are going on in Keri area " a police officer said.
The two armies had traded heavy fire in Khari Karmara belt of Poonch district on Sunday. The LoC divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
