Government s duplicity on SC/ST Act exposed: Congress
New Delhi April 4 (IANS) The Congress on Wednesday said the Modi government s "duplicity" over the Supreme Court s refusal to stay its ruling on the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act had been exposed.
"Modi government s double speak and duplicity on SC/ST Act exposed in Supreme Court! " Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted.
The apex court on Tuesday declined to stay its earlier order which triggered widespread protests.
