Army officer injured in Pakistani firing

Jammu April 6 (IANS) An Army officer was injured in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir s Rajouri district.
Defence Ministry sources said the Major was injured late Thursday evening.
"The officer deployed in forward area of Nowshera sector sustained a splinter injury in his feet. He was shifted to hospital for treatment " an official said.
