12 killed in two separate accidents in UP

Agra April 10 (IANS) As many as 12 persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh s Agra district police said.
Both the accidents took place on Monday evening a police official said.
In the first incident three persons on a motorbike rammed into a stationary truck on the Agra-Delhi Highway. All three died on the spot he said.
In another accident nine persons were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck in Khairagarh area here.
There were over 20 people in the vehicle according to the eye-witnesses the official said.
Of the nine killed six died on the spot while three succumbed to injuries in a hospital he added.
