Man held for wife s murder in Bengal

Kolkata April 15 (IANS) A man was arrested on Sunday on charge of killing his wife whose body was found on the railway tracks in West Bengal s Malda district police said.
Padmabati s body was found in the morning in Rangamatia area where the couple lived.
"When we raided accused Sishir Mondal s house blood stains were found on the balcony. It seems he killed his wife and threw the body on the tracks to make it look like an accident " a police officer said.
Police quoted neighbours as claiming that Mondal often came home drunk and beat up his wife.
