Vohra calls all-party meet to discuss J&K situation
Srinagar June 21 (IANS) Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra has called an all-party meeting here on Friday to discuss the security situation in the state officials said here on Thursday.
The officials said for the all-party meeting called in the wake of imposition of the Governor s rule invitations have been sent to heads of state units of national political parties.
After assuming the reins of administration in the state this will be Vohra s first interaction with politicians of mainstream political parties.
Following the withdrawal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP-BJP ruling coalition the state was put under the Governor s rule under Article 92 of the state constitution.
