July 28 (WTN) Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's great nephew and new face of BJP in West Bengal Chandra Kumar Bose has been confronted with controversy over the statement given on Mob Lynching. Bose had tweeted a few days back on the basis that Mahatma Gandhi treated goat as Mata so Hindus should give up goat's meat on that basis. His statement created huge controversies recently.
In his tweet Bose said “Gandhi ji used to stay in my grandfather-Sarat Chandra Bose's house at 1 Woodburn Park in Kolkata. He demanded goat's milk! Two goats brought to the house for this purpose. Gandhi protector of Hindus treated goats as Mata by consuming goat’s milk. Hindus stop eating goat's meat.”
Although Bose clarify later that people should understand the subtlety behind his tweets as entire country is stunned due to the rising incidents of mob lunching.

Netaji's predecessor said that recent cow-based politics lynching incidents in BJP-ruled states are unfortunate. Gandhiji had stressed the goat's milk while living in our house. It can be assumed that they treated the goat as a mother. There is no need to argue on this. After this statement, the war on social media has also started.
Tripura Governor Tathagat Rai strongly objects and replied that Bose insulted the Father of the Nation. He said that neither Gandhi nor your great grandfather Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose ever said that goat is our mother, this is your conclusion. Neither did Gandhiji ever say that he is the protector of the Hindus; we consider the Hindu cow as our mother not a goat.Neither Gandhiji nor your grandfather ever said goats were Mata-that's your conclusion. Nor did Gandhiji (or anyone else) ever proclaim that he was the protector of Hindus. We Hindus regard the cow as our mother, not the goat.

On Governor‘s tweet Bose again written that we are strictly Hindu but we do not believe religion is related to eating habits of someone. We oppose such ideas and we do not think there is such a place in India.
