New Delhi Aug 1 (IANS) It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius one notch below the season s average the Met said.
Light rains are predicted for Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
"It will be a generally cloudy sky with chances of light rains or thundershowers occurring " an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
"The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius " he said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 82 per cent and 0.6 mm of rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours since Tuesday.
Tuesday s minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius a notch above the season s average while the maximum temperature settled at 32.7 degrees Celsius two notches below the season s average.
