Article 35A gives Kashmiris right to self-determination: Malik
Srinagar Aug 10 (IANS) Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik said on Friday that Article 35A is directly related to the right to self-determination of the people in Kashmir.
Addressing a protest march taken out in favour of Article 35A Malik said in the city centre Lal Chowk: "We want the rulers of India to know that every Kashmiri would protect the state subject law with his/her blood and life.
"They know their right to self-determination will be automatically snatched from them if state subject law is scrapped".
The JKLF chief said the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) conglomerate of senior separatist leaders would soon announce a protest programme after consultation with various stakeholders.
