PDP Youth President survives bid on life

Srinagar Aug 14 (IANS) Peoples Democratic Party s Youth President survived a bid on his life by unidentified assailants party sources said on Tuesday.
Waheed Parra was returning from a condolence meeting on Monday evening when gunmen on motorcycle fired at his bullet proof vehicle in Chadoora area of Badgam.
"Bullets hit Parra s bullet proof vehicle but he survived the bid on his life" the sources said.
Police said they were investigating the incident.
