Haryana Assembly session postponed due to Vajpayee s death
Chandigarh Aug 16 (IANS) The Haryana Assembly s monsoon session scheduled to commence on Friday has been postponed in the wake of the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
"The session has been postponed indefinitely " Assembly Speaker Kanwar Pal told reporters here.
He said the new dates for the session would be announced later.
The Assembly session was to conclude on August 21.
Vajpayee 93 a moderate face in saffron politics and the first non-Congress Prime Minister to complete a full term in office died in New Delhi on Thursday after a prolonged illness.
