Haryana declares public holiday
Chandigarh Aug 16 (IANS) The Haryana government on Thursday declared a public holiday on Friday in its offices including boards corporations and educational institutions as a mark of respect for former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away in Delhi on Thursday.
The state mourning would be observed from August 16 to 22 an official statement said.
During this period the national flag will fly at half mast throughout the state and there will be no official entertainment.
