Vajpayee was people s leader who ruled minds: Joshi
New Delhi Aug 16 (IANS) Veteran BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi on Thursday described the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a personal loss and said that he was a people s leader.
"I had a long relation with Vajpayee ji. He was a guide and inspiration for many party leaders " Joshi told reporters here.
"He was people s leader and he ruled the mind of people and kept the country together " he said.
He also said that Vajpayee always followed Raj dharm .
Describing Vajpayee s death as a great personal loss the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said: "It s a great loss and a personal loss for me. We saw him as an inspiration.
"I don t know when another Atal Bihari Vajpayee can be seen in the future " he added.
Vajpayee a founder member of the BJP and the first non-Congress Prime Minister to complete a full term in office died in Delhi on Thursday after prolonged illness. He was 93.
