Order of disciplinary action against Major Gogoi in Srinagar hotel case

Major Leetul Gogoi was detained by police from a hotel in Srinagar, where a girl was present with him.
In case of meeting with a girl, Major Leetul Gogoi's problems have to face inquiry. The Court of Inquiry of the Army ordered on Monday to take disciplinary action against him. In the Court of Inquiry, it indicated that he was found at other place during duty in the operational area also he chummed up with local people. According to the rules, in the sensitive areas, soldiers not allowed to go to the places which are not in the periphery of their duty.
On May 23, Gogoi was detained by the police from a hotel in Srinagar. Here he was allegedly with a girl. After the matter came to light, the army ordered the court of inquiry to investigate it. Army Chief Bipin Rawat also said that Gogoi will be stern action if found guilty.
Earlier Major Leetul Gogoi came to light in April last year when he had tied the youth of Kashmir Farooq Ahmed Dar on front of the Jeep to save the Army unit and the Election Commission officials from stone throwing.
