PM Modi still first choice of people, Rahul on second place: Survey

Political upheavals have accelerated as the 2019 Lok Sabha election gets closer. All parties are engaged in making every possible effort for attracting voters by themselves. But peoples of the country are still having Narendra Modi as their first choice of popularity. It has been revealed in an online survey that 48 percent of the people have trusted PM Modi as their leader to take the country forward while Congress president Rahul Gandhi is in second place.

An online survey was conducted by Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) of Prashant Kishor, well known election strategist who played a key role in Modi's victory in 2014. Over 55 days of this survey, more than 57 lakh people from 712 districts of the country participated. It was asked in the survey that who is the leader who can take the country's agenda forward? According to the results of the survey, PM Modi has become the choice of 48 percent people; Congress President Rahul Gandhi is the second choice of 11 percent people.
This survey is similar to the survey conducted by Citizens for Accountant Governance related to Kishore in 2013, in which Modi was described as the most favorite leader of the country. I-PAC members said that the purpose of this survey was to reach the Internet reachable population. However, analysts say that it is an online survey and it has its own restrictions, because a large part of the country, especially rural India, is involved in such surveys.

Prashant Kishore, who came to limelight after BJP's formed government in 2014, is known as the best election strategist. He runs an organisation named Indian Political Action Committee, which branding leadership, political strategy, message campaign and speeches. After leaving the BJP in 2014, Prashant Kishore joined hands with the Nitish-Lalu collision for Bihar elections in 2015.
